C-band on a Ku dish. Does
it work??? Well, here in Georgia, it works on the HOTDISH90
using our famous BSC421. Is it easy? Well, it
depends on your level or experience. We didn't have any
problem getting pictures. Of course we know how to set the
skew and how to milk every last bit of signal out of the dish and LNBF.
I believe this to be a good option for those that want to
watch
C-band from a fixed dish, however, you should be aware the satellite
you choose should have a strong signal and installation may require a
experienced installer. Be prepared to spend some time and do
a
little experimenting to find the signal and tweak the dish.

The mighty HOTDISH90 comes out of
the warehouse
on it's
maiden C-band run.

If you look closely, you can see the
signal strength.
It's actually very good. Remember the dish is less
than a meter in size. You can see the channel playing behind
the signal meter.

Can you see the reflection on the TV
screen. We're
in Georgia where the weather is always great and the sun it always
shining. That's Lance on the left. I'm the handsome
one on the right.
